In just three months, Citizens’ Impeachment has driven the conversation about impeachment, removal, and conviction of Donald J. Trump into the halls of Congress and newsrooms thanks to YOU, our volunteers and followers. Our country has an urgent need to address the unconstitutional actions of the president and his administration. Citizens’ Impeachment is proud to play a role in making clear that impeachment is the remedy.
The impeachment movement is entering a new phase, one that builds on the citizens, their protests, and the groundswell of public outcry against the unconstitutional actions of our government. Going forward, Citizens’ Impeachment will prioritize support for direct citizen advocacy nationwide.
With this change of focus comes a change in leadership. Effective immediately, co-founder Gabe Garbowit will be stepping down and leaving the organization. Co-founder Keira Havens will be our interim Executive Director. We are proud to have a U.S. Air Force veteran at the head of the organization at this critical moment.
From the start, the Citizens’ Impeachment team has been dedicated to providing people real and practical tools for political advocacy. Going forward, we’ll be laser-focused on empowering citizens to use their voices to support members of Congress who honor their oaths of office and work to defend our Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic.
Citizens’ Impeachment is proud to continue the work it was founded to do. We’re confident that our rapidly growing membership of engaged citizens will be effective in removing this tyrant from office and preserving our democracy.
