Here’s what you told us from May Day — Now let’s turn up the pressure

Thank you to everyone who took our recent poll about your congressional representatives and their stance on impeachment. Over 278 of you responded, and the results are telling:

  • 52.9% (147 people) said their representative has not responded at all.
  • 31.8% (87 people) said they received a response that didn’t address the issue.
  • 9.9% (27 people) said their representative does not support impeachment.
  • Only 6.2% (17 people) said their representative supports impeachment.

These numbers show a clear pattern: silence, deflection, and a lack of accountability from the majority of Congress.

But we’re not stopping here — and neither should you.

Here are two powerful next steps you can take right now:

1. Write a letter to the editor

Public pressure works. Submitting a letter to your local paper is a great way to spotlight your representative’s inaction (or unacceptable stance) and rally others in your community to demand more. We have a simple tool and talking points to help you craft and send yours in minutes.

Have you already written a letter to the editor? Tell us about it! Did you get published, ghosted, or somewhere in between?

2. Attend a town hall

Some representatives are back in their districts holding town halls. Show up, ask tough questions, and make sure they know their constituents are watching. Find out if your rep has a town hall scheduled near you.

Your voice makes a difference — and when we act together, they can’t ignore us.

Let’s keep the pressure on.
