Citizens’ Impeachment is made up of concerned citizens from every single district in the U.S. That gives us access to every single representative and senator in the United States Congress.
Citizens should be meeting with their elected officials about impeachment. Our new Citizen Action Guide on how to get a meeting with your member of Congress is full of detailed instructions and templates for requesting a meeting, whether by video call or face to face.
Here’s our promise to you: you won’t have to do this alone.
If you are granted a meeting with your representative or senator to talk about impeachment, Citizens’ Impeachment will send a representative to that meeting with you. We’ll also prepare a detailed Talking Points Guide tailored to your specific member of Congress that covers what to ask, how to be persuasive, how to avoid some common red herrings, and how to keep the conversation focused on impeaching, convicting, and removing Donald J. Trump. We’ll even hold a prep session to go over these talking points and make sure you feel prepared for the meeting.
There are now many thousands of people volunteering with Citizens’ Impeachment. Many, many, many of you shared your reasons for joining Citizens’ Impeachment as part of your sign-up. They tell the story of a nation fighting for its democracy.
Your individual stories DO make a difference. As a way to showcase the fierce love our volunteers have for our democracy, we’ve anonymized your comments and organized them by district to share with your representative. It’s one more way to show that this issue is relevant to their constituent base and their re-election.
You care about this country and it shows. Now, you can use our Citizen Action Guide to set up a meeting with your own elected officials. We’ll join you and make impeachment a topic they can’t ignore.
