As part of our weekly actions, our members have regular contact with their representatives or staff. These interactions provide opportunities to bring clarity to the destruction Donald Trump and his cronies are doing to the United States, and the consequences of inaction by our elected representatives. Here’s what one constituent told a staffer of Suzan DelBene, congresswoman from Washington’s first congressional district.
Good morning and happy Wednesday!
I hope you and Rep. DelBene are doing well. As you know, I have been writing a lot of my correspondence in concert with Citizen’s Impeachment. While they aren’t tagged today, the subject of my message is very in line with their goals.
I hope you saw the pitiful and outright disgraceful display that AG Pam Bondi put on during her hearing with the House Judiciary Committee today. Calling sitting representatives “Losers” and being unable and UNWILLING to answer the questions required of her station is a disgrace to the American people. There is no other way to describe it. And, we are furious about it. The American people and the Epstein Survivors have lost all faith that our DOJ can operate without bias. It is painfully clear that now more than ever the DOJ is being weaponized to act as Donald Trump’s personal legal attack dogs.
Under any other president this would have resulted in Pam Bondi being impeached and indicted. But not in our current administration. She is able to flaunt the rules, insult our elected representation, and fail to hold any co-conspirators accountable for their involvement with Jeffrey Epstein.
I am reminded of Benjamin Franklin’s words, “A Republic if you can keep it”. Nick, we are quickly losing our Republic.
History has shown us that when politics get as divided as they are now it takes no time for the sitting leader to dismantle the opposition party and grab complete control. We are at the precipice and are slipping over a slop we will not recover from.
There is only one way to stop this. Rep. DelBene must use every ounce of strength she has as a ranking member to push for impeachment of Pam Bondi for failing to protect Epstein’s Victims, failing to release all of the files in accordance with the law, and failing to adhere to her oath of office. We must also work tirelessly to impeach Kristi Noem for creating a standing army loyal to only Donald Trump and using that army to intimidate, abuse, and execute unarmed civilians who are practicing their first Amendment Rights. We must also impeach Donald Trump for violating his oath of office and using his position to enrich himself at the expense of the America People, weaponizing supposed apolitical departments against his political enemies, corrupting our court system, his blatant involvement in the Epstein case, and for trying to subvert our electoral process. Every other country that has been down this road has fallen into complete authoritarianism. We will not be different unless we suit up and take a stand. We cannot count on the military. We cannot count on the courts. If Congress fails to act then it will come down to the people being forced to.
Many are already calling for a Civil War. However, a Civil War would result in tens of millions of American deaths not only from war but also starvation, illness, dehydration, failing victim to opportunistic criminals, and countless other occurrences that happen as the result of a system collapse.
We can’t allow this to happen. Rep. DelBene MUST stand up now or move out of the way so someone with more strength can stand up for her.
