Video editing/production
Are you comfortable editing video content for social media and other platforms? Join our video team to help amplify the pro-impeachment, anti-corruption message. Editing tasks range from simple clipping overlays, to more involved video storytelling.
Fundraisers
Looking for experienced fundraising professionals to develop fundraising campaigns for Courage for Democracy.
Communications team
Looking for experienced comms professionals to identify appropriate media outlets and make pitches (press releases, op-eds, etc.). Experience working with local media outlets a plus. Familiarity with Google Sheets required.
Courage Candidate operations team
Looking for people with experience running/managing political campaigns to support the Courage Candidate program. Work will include candidate outreach and vetting, onboarding new candidates, data tracking and administrative work. Social media accounts (Bluesky, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok) required.
Writers
Create short blog-type posts for publication on our website and on Substack to call followers to action, or write email newsletters. You’ll be given some guidance on what is needed for each piece, but will otherwise be working largely independently.
Youtube Channel Admins
Help develop our Youtube channels, post content, write titles and descriptions, and monitor and respond to comments. Knowledge of YouTube SEO helpful.
Graphic Design Team Lead
Coordinate a team of graphic designers to produce graphics for social media, print media, and websites. Monitor the graphics needs of social media and leadership teams, assign projects, monitor progress, and give feedback on designs. Familiarity with Canva helpful.
Graphic Designers
We’re looking for people experienced with graphic design to create graphics for use on social media, protest signs, flyers, and more. Familiarity with Canva would be a plus. When you apply, please send us a few examples of graphics you’ve created recently. Check out our Instagram profile for examples of the types of graphics we use.
Executive Assistants
Provide high-level administrative and strategic support to the Executive Director and/or the Courage Candidate program. Manage calendars, handle communications, and overseeing special projects.
Deputy Director for Congressional Outreach & Engagement
This individual will be responsible for supporting the Congressional Affairs team, assisting with outreach to legislators, and supporting lobbying efforts. If you have a background in congressional affairs, this may be a good role for you. This new role will be part of our senior leadership team working in conjunction with our Director for Congressional Outreach & Engagement and reports to our Executive Director.
Congressional Liaison Specialists
We are looking for several individuals to support our Congressional Affairs team. This group will help our 6,000 members connect with their members of congress, and conduct congressional research as needed. Specialists will be overseen by the Director and Deputy Director of Congressional Outreach & Engagement.
Social Media Manager
Coordinate content across social media channels and other Citizens’ Impeachment platforms. Keep the social media calendar up to date, and coordinate with other volunteers to keep all platforms on schedule. We are looking for someone with experience developing social media calendars and coordinating a team.
Research team manager
Help manage our researchers by providing incoming research volunteers with instructions and spreadsheet access, answering questions, and coordinating and monitoring research efforts to make sure that projects are completed in required timeframes. You’ll need to be very comfortable with Google sheets, and with managing people.
Online Researchers
Gather information online related to congressional districts, election candidates, members of Congress and more. You’ll need to be comfortable using Google sheets, and social media accounts are helpful.
Facebook Admin
We’re looking for additional help running the Citizens’ Impeachment Facebook page. You’ll be joining a team that works together to increase reach and engagement.
Bluesky Admin
Our largest social media following is on Bluesky, and we’re looking for a few more people to add to the admin team. The work is passed from one team member to another on a rotating basis so that individuals can have a break and attend to other life priorities in between.
Instagram Admin
Help build our audience on Instagram by engaging with followers and other Instagram accounts regularly.
Tik Tok Admin
Help build our audience on TikTok by engaging with followers and with posts from other accounts. Content development is also an option but not required.
Content curator
Draw from Citizens’ Impeachment’s and Courage for Democracy’s blogs, podcasts, and other media sources, and identify the best quotes and clips to be turned into short-form content (graphics, reels) for our social media channels. You will be identifying and organizing the information for the graphics and video teams.
